Dajia hao! Hello, everyone!

Before you guys read my first blogpost in 2020, I suggest you  to re-read this one [click the link]. You should re-read it first, then I am sure that you are going to familiar with what I have posted here.
DISCLAIMER:
The badminton players who are in the nominees’ list, had taken from BWF ranking update in December of17th, 2019, which three days after final day of BWF World Tour Final 2019 was held. It can say the players in the list are the players with good-looking appearances and have great performances in 2019. Hereby, I could write as my subjective insight, but also I kept my eye to online badminton lovers’ insights.

Shall we go on?

First of all, I started to choose the players nominees are in the great 20 of men singles and mixed doubles’ world ranking. While for men doubles scction, I had taken them among the great 16 (if we calculated the great 16 of men doubles is equals to 20 men singles in combine with 20 male players of mixed doubles).

Next…

This is the top 4 of man players of mixed-doubles:
1. Chan Peng Soon (6)
2. Yuta Watanabe (3)*
3. Zheng Siwei (1)
4. Tang Chun Man (10)
5. Seo Seungjae (7)

The last section in this nominees list was very hard to choose because I wrote this one while I was imagining their each styles when they attended last BWF Wordl Tour Final 2019’s welcome dinner.

Among the 16 pairs of the men doubles section,  I formed the great 4 which the most good-looking players for MD.
1. Wang Chi-Lin (7)
2. Takehi Kamura (3)*
3. Li Junhui (4)
4. Hiroyuki Endo (6)

Alright!
I already got the nominees among three sections: Men Singles, Men Doubles, and male players of Mixed Doubles. Last but not least, I eliminated them into the 7 nominees in total (MS+MD+males of XD). I didn’t only see from their really good appearances, I also see their skill on the court when they were in matches of tournaments. So that’s way I had taken them among the great 20 for MS and males of XD, and the great 16 of MD’s.

Here they are…

Top 7 The Most Handsome badminton male players 2019's Alika’s Scoial Diary’s version

Number 7

Last 2018, his partner, got a place in Top 8 Handsome Badminton Players 2018.  In 2019 is he turns to get a place as the most good-looking players Alika’s Social Diary’s version. He was born in Liaoning, China, 24 years ago. He and his partner got tittled by the fans as The Twin Towers/Duo Towers due to their heights are taller than their againsts (furthermore, when they against Indonesian MD pairs which have not as tall as them :D)

I guess… you already know them, right? No pair else is called by The Twin Towers beside Li Junhui and Liu Yuchen who still become China team’s first MD. Last year, Liu Yuchen had a position the sixth’s (I think... I just a bit forget about it..). [Top 7 The Most HandsomeBadminton Players 2018 ].

It Li Junhui’s turn.

In 2019, map of MD section competition is so tight. Say it, whoever is ready on the court will win the match even be a winner of the tournament. Some Head To Heads (H2H) of each pair to other pair not really much can be predicted. Along the year Junhui and Yuchen got two runner-up tittles and also got two tittles of the first places. In early 2019, Junhui/Yuchen became a champion in Malaysia Master, then became a runner-up in Japan Open after had being defeated by The Minions, their toughest opponents; Junhui/Yuchen had reached the second place in Thailand Master after Indian pair surprisingly got into the final round and defeated The Twin Towers. In the end of race of Guangzhou points accumulation, in Macau Open, Junhui and Yuchen has brought another championship for them.

As I remember about what Chinese badminton lovers through their badminton fansite’s accounts’ weibo, there are many users feel bad within The Twin Towers’ performances are going down even in the race of poin accumulation for Olympic Tokyo2020. They also expect that Junhui and Yuchen will be separated after the Olympic’s; maybe created another senior-junior’s pairs?

Whatever, I am in the side of audience of Indonesian badminton, eventhough Junhui and Yuchen can be defetated by The Minions and other Indonesian MD pairs, how about to naturalized them into our squad in the future? Hehehe.

Number 6

This player… A man single player in this number, again and again. Hehehe. He is, still him, and I already written lots of stuffs about him in: Kepoin Figur Publik #2Chinese Taipei Sudirman Cup Team 2017 (part 1), and "Top 8 The Most Handsome Badminton Players 2018". You guys can click those links (later, after you have reading this page) to read more about him.

I think, almost all of the audiences and badminton lovers around the world (okay, I know it is overtop, but it okay though) never forget to final round moment when Indonesia Open S1000 was held around the last June. You guys can remember it clearly, right? Within played in three games versus the youngster form Denmark, Anders Antosen, finally Chou Tien Chen, from Chinese Taipei, won the game! It was his first tittle in 2019, and also he jumped into the great three in the list of contestant to World Tour Final in Guangzhou. Later then, he got a first place in Thailand Open, defeated to Ng Ka Long Angus, representative from Hong Kong China. Then, in his host country, Chinese Taipei Open, he also won the tournament. Almost in the end of accumulation points for World Tour Final, the best results of Chou Tien Chen became runner-up both in Korea Open and Fuzhou China Open.

Okay, I just can share those things about the one of the powerful prince from Chinese Taipei, those links above already told who he is.

So I am going to the next number.

Number 5

Last 2018, this player wasn’t including in the lis of Top 8 The Most Handsome Male-Badminton Players. In this year 2019’s list, I feel pity towards him after saw his extra efforts to get his best performances like before he got injured, in order to run points for qualification the Olympic Tokyo 2020. Since December 17, 2019, the Danish player who in the world ranking number 5 is also got the position in this lis of the top 5 the good-looking male-badminton player.

It isn’t so easy for Viktor Axelsen to become a champion after having injury time since last year. It needs an extra time to bring it back, and of course, needs a consistency. But, for players, working hard to get back they giot previously dan keep it are their routin homework which always they complete them.

Have a rest, Viggo! Hopefully in early 2020 you are able to join the competition again, road to Olympic Tokyo 2020!

And, we move to the next number....

 Number 4

Dear my beloved Badminton Lovers’ friends,
Please be nice with me, okay? I’ve chosen his because of his markable hairstyle in any court of matches. Yeah, seems his pomade is already be his style which none other players have it. He and his MD’s partner are quite troublesome for some Indonesian pairs, mostly they are upsetting Marcus and Kevin along thi year. Nevertheless, ifyou guys ever seen once he didn’t use his pomade when had a match. He is as good-looking as his recent MD’s partner.

Previously, less than year 2017, Hiroyuki Endo has paired up with Kenichi Hayakawa, they could say as the toughest MD at that time, because they have ever reached the world ranking number 2. It is almost two years (or, it is already near 3 years?!) Hiroyuki have paired up with the Japanese youngster named Yuta Watanabe, after Kenichi decided to retire and became the Japanese MD coach. He used to play so calm and have great defense on the court, nowadays successfully bring Yuta and himself as the sixth of BWF world ranking, and be the second MD pair for Japanese national team.

In 2019, Hiroyuki and Yuta got two champion tittles in German Open and Badminton Asia Championshion, one runner-up tittle in New Zealand Open. Had been champion in German Open after defetated to their compatriot and the first pair of Japanese MD, Takeshi Kamura/Keigo Sonoda.

Then, I guarantee you guys can’t forget about this one. The dramatic lost by Marcus Gideon and Kevin Sukamuljo in this year 2019. Being played in three games in the final round of Badminton Asia Championship, Hiroyuki and Yuta only gave The Indonesian pir within three points. So cruel? Hiroyuki/Yuta’s confidence’s is getting built up to defeat the first world ranking pair. In the last BWF World Tour Final, Hiroyuki and Yuta defeated to The Minions twice: in third round of stage round, and in the semifinal round.

This is... the special category (and the man).

The Warmest Smile of Badminton Player 2019

Last year, I didn’t put this category in the list. This’ the first time I put this warmest smile of the player :D. The reason is when I see each facial expression of players who are on the court, there are always be a annoyed but adorable facial expressions, cute facial expression and had been missed so much. Therefore, this player is one of player that very frequent to give his smile from the court, eventhough he made some missed ball by himself. But, that-adorable-smile is finally melt the girls’ audiences’ hearts.

Takeshi Kamura was born on 14th of February, 29 years ago, He is Japanese national team A, and plays in men double section. Similar to the owner of the number seventh above, Takeshi had switched his MD patner as The Top 8 Most Handsome Male Badminton Players last year, Keigo Sonoda. Yes, he is Takeshi Kamura who loves to post some pictures about ramen in his twitter and instagram. Along this 2019, Takeshi and Keigo have one champion tittle in Singapore Open, after defeated to Hendra Setiawan and Mohammad Ahsan, the BWF world ranking number two. Mostly the best result of Takeshi and Keigo have finished as a runner-up in German Open, Malaysia Open, Australia Open, Korea Open, and Fuzhou China Open, so Takeshi and Keigo got one ticket for Guangzhou 2019.

Next...

Number 3

Last year, this player isn’t include in the top 8 the most handsome badminton players’ Alika’s Social Diary. Why? I don’t know, seems he also has a very really-good-looking. That’s why in 2019’s list he should be written in it. For additional information. He plays in mixed double section, and his lady-partner on the court was in the top 7 the most beautiful female-badminton players in mid-2019.

In early 2019 or 2018 :D, he and his lady-partner-on-the-court decided to play professional out of the country badminton federation. I am not sure whether if it because they had found unmatched with the official coach, its system, or something, the important one they started to run by themselves in 2018.  They got first tittle in 2019 in Thailand Master, defeated to the country host representative, Dechapol and Sapsiree. That is it. Chan Peng Soon and Goh Liu Ying wasn’t lucky enough to win another tournamenst after Thailand Master, except had been in first podium in New Zealand Open. But, been semifinalists in their home, Malaysia Master, Indonesia Master, Indonesia Open, Japan Open, and Chinese Taipei Open.

It is quiet shocking when in the last tournament for points accumulations road to Guangzhou 2019, Korea Master, Chan Peng Soon and Goh Liu Ying were defeated by the unseeding pair from Chinese Taipei, Yang Po-Hsuan and Hu Ling Fang. Nevertheless their points are saved them went to Guangzhou for World Super Series Tour Final. Sometimes as their supporter, got confused because along this year some times Peng Soon-ge and Liu Ying-jie had been defeated by some pairs who had the ranking and had seeded below them.

Then...

Number 2

Yeay! Finally, it has already in the great two in this list, The Top 7 of The Most Good-Looking Badminton Players 2019!

The number two’s the most good-looking male-badminton player, started his first match in 2019 in March, if I am not wrong to reminsiche it because he had a vow statement as a new MD pair with his new partner after Chinese Lunar New Year.

Actually Wang Chi-Lin with previous partner, Chen Hung Ling-the senior player, could join the competition road to Olympic Tokyo 2020. They got really best starter in early 2019 because they were in the top 4 of MD-world-ranking. But then, Chen Hung Ling decided to retire (maybe because of his age) and joined the official Chinese Taipei team as a coach. He handled for MD and XD section. One of MD pair that Coach Chen handled is Wang Chi-Lin and his new partner, Lee Yang. The new partner of Chi-Lin is has separated with his the-12-world-world-ranking teammate, too.

Wang Chi-Lin and Lee Yang was registered in 7 continues-tournaments for get more points higher and get the chance to the qualifications of Road To Olympic 2020 after they had a vow. Interesting, isn’t it? That’s why Wang Chi-Lin and Lee Yang got a nickname from Indonesian badminton fans by Duo Kuda/The Two Horses, because their powers don’t have a limit just like a horse in the races. From the 7 continues tournament, Chi-Lin, paired up with Lee Yang, got three wons in Barcelona Spain Master, Orleans Master, and  India Open Super Series500. In the end race to World Tour Final Guangzhou 2019, Chi-Lin and Lee Yang won the Korean Master, and closing the path for Malaysian representative, Goh V.Shem and Tan Wee Kiong went to Guangzhou. In last 2019, Chi-Lin and Lee Yang is in the position 7th-world-ranking, and be the first-ranking MD for Chinese Taipei team.

Another one that makes Wang Chi-Lin looks more handsome is the way he also plays in two sectors, MD and XD, like in  previous years. For mixed double’s partner, he got Cheng Chi Ya, who three years older than him, after had been separated with Lee Chia Hsin. Chi-Lin and Chia-Hsing was in 18th-world-ranking-XD last 2018.

Actually, Chi-Lin had been paired up with Chi Ya, before he paired up with Chia-Hsin. In last 2019, Chi-Lin and Chi-Ya in the 20th-world-ranking-XD, but have no champion tittle. Their best results are became Barcelona Spain Master’s runner-up, Choi Solgy/Chae Yujung of South Korea defeated to them in final round; then got runner-up tittle in Macau Open, after anticlimac played in final round versus Dechapol and Sapsiree.

This is the another special category.

The Cutest Male-Badminton Player 2019

Aiyaaa… before we go to first position of The Top 7 The Most Good-Looking Male Badminton Players 2019's Alika’s Social Diary’s version. Again, I add a new category beside The Warmest Smile Male Badminton Player, it is The Cutest Male Badminton Player. Why? In my honest opinion, a handsome man and a cute boy or man is totally different. Last year, actually, I also putted the cutest male badminton player category in one person as the second ranking of the top handsome badminton player as. Hmm. This male player is similar to Wang Chi-Lin, He plays for two sections: men double and mixed double.

It’s like when Yuta plays in MD sector, he has already been an overcome to the other pairs in mixed double sector. In late 2019, Yuta, who paired up with Arisa Higashino since they were in the Japanese  club, is the third-world-ranking-pair under both two doubles of Chinese pairs. Has been the number one-ranking of Japanese mixed doubles who approve themselves as a semifinalist in BWF World Tour Super Series Final 2019. By the way, Yuta Watanabe played six times in group stage (three times for MD section, and three times for XD section). Then played twice for semifinal. Unfortunately, Yuta and Arisa didn’t get it to the final round. Nevertheless, with Arisa, Yuta became a winner in Malaysia Master and Hong Kong Open; two tittles for being runner-up in All England, they failed to keep the tittle from last year and been defeated by Zheng Siwei/Huang Yaqiong; also became a runner-up in Thailand Open because another Chinese pair, Wang Yi Lyu/Huang Dong Ping.

A quite article quoted what ex-Japanase (head) coach from Indonesia, Reony Mainaky said in, Yuta  Watanabe is one of the best “assets” for the Japanese national team because of his superb skill, also his defense play skill that had annoyed any MD pairs in the world. Anyway, I am going to put the link of the statement later. It  had written approxiatmely a year ago when Yuta and Hiroyuki to be close to the top 10 of elite MD. Actually, Yuta and Arisa had been in the great 5 of the world in XD section.

Hooraayy! I have got The Most Good-Looking Male-Badminton Player’s Alika’s Social Diary!

Number 1

Actually this number one player in the list almost didn’t become one of  the The Most Good-Looking Male-Badminton Players 2019 because of his world-ranking still outside the great 20 of men singles’ ranking, I was so sad when thought this number one position should have another one L. Fortunately, the Alika’s Social Diary still has a very very good fortune to have him here. Anyway, similar to the player who sit in the number six above, aku have shared about this handsome guy before. Click here

Wang Tzu Wei is almost don’t go to Guangzhou for the biggest BWF’s tournament in this year, World Tour Final 2019. He was in 8th of the list’s road to Guangzhou. His greatest rivals in Korean Master, for the last spot competitions for going to Guanzhou were Ng Ka Long Angus (Hong Kong China) was in the 9th position, Lin Dan (China) was  in the 10th position, then even if he lost in the first round of Korea Master, was giving a hope for Kanthapon Wangchoeron (Thailand), Lee Zii Jia (Malaysia), and Kanta Tsuneyama (Japan) to go. But the last one didn’t happen. Tzu Wei won the first round. Sadly, he lost in the second round, and Angus lost in the second round, too. There was a very little chance Tzu Wei to went to Guangzhou, if Lin Dan didn’t win Korea Master. That’s right! Lin Dan failed to go to World Tour Final in his host-country due to BWF regulation which mentioned about the number of the elite players could join the tournament under Super300 level (each elites players/pairs shoul have maximum five tournament within Super300 below level). Wang Tzu Wei has confirmed to go to Guangzhou, because Lin Dan;’s point in Korea Master was deducted.

After won the Syed Modi Open and defeated to the host country representative, Sourabh Verma, Tzu Wei’s world ranking was going up to level 19th. Futhermore, having reached BWF World Tour Final’s semifinal round, it has been going up again to the 15th level. Seems this handsome guy had so much lucky. In year 2019, except had got his first tittle in the year at Syed Modi Open, the best result of Tzu Wei’s matches was be a runner-up Canadian Open. Having twice failed for semifinal rounds in Austrlian Open and Korea Open after Anthony Siniskuka Ginting and his senior compatriot, Chou Tien Chen beat him,

Hopefully there are many good things happen in 2020 for paying of your hardworks, Prince Wei! J

Alright.
